Pineapple Sol is a growing restaurant concept, and we're building out our kitchen team. We're looking for fun, hard-working, and trustworthy cooks who take pride in their craft and want to grow with us.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Stock and set up kitchen stations
- Prepare food, including cleaning and cutting ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and snacks
- Plate prepared foods according to the General Manager's guidance
- Prepare and fire orders accurately during service
- Work with servers to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
- Wash and clean kitchen and cooking utensils, and store equipment at the end of each shift
- Ensure kitchen operations and hygiene meet all food safety standards and regulations
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong kitchen knowledge and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Strong organization and active listening skills
- Ability to stay on your feet for most of the shift and lift up to 30 pounds at a time
- Excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of proper portioning and the precision needed to bring recipes to life
Schedule
- This role requires availability on weekends (with optional weekday hours).
Experience
- At least one year of cooking experience demonstrating solid kitchen knowledge
