Duties
- Develop and deliver comprehensive curriculum on investigative interviewing and interrogation techniques tailored to adult learners in law enforcement, emergency response, or military contexts, utilizing the REID Technique methodology
- Conduct engaging classroom sessions and practical exercises that simulate real-world scenarios for effective skill acquisition
- Evaluate trainee performance through assessments, feedback sessions, and practical demonstrations to ensure mastery of interview strategies
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to update training content regularly, integrating new developments in law enforcement tactics and emergency response protocols
- Facilitate workshops on legal considerations during interrogations and interviews to ensure compliance with applicable laws and ethical standards
- Support trainees’ professional growth by providing mentorship and guidance on curriculum development and adult education methodologies
- Skills
- Extensive knowledge of investigative interview techniques and interrogation strategies used by law enforcement or military personnel
- Proven experience in teaching or training adults effectively within law enforcement or military environments
- Ability to develop engaging curricula that incorporate practical exercises and scenario-based learning
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse learner groups
- Familiarity with legal frameworks governing interrogations and interviews across different jurisdictions
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development in areas such as law enforcement tactics, emergency response procedures, or military operations
