Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our facilities and equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex maintenance tasks across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and some appliance systems. Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure continuous operation.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes efficiently.
- Install, repair, and maintain a variety of appliances including kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, and refrigeration units.
- Operate company vehicles safely for on-site service calls or equipment transportation as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to perform precise repairs and installations.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in compliance with operational standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with team members and clients about maintenance needs and solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, or mechanical systems repair.
- Knowledge of HVAC system repair, refrigeration technology, air conditioning systems, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance across various systems.
- Experience working with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) procedures in industrial or commercial settings.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely.
- Valid Certified Pool Operator.
- Leadership qualities that support teamwork and guide less experienced technicians when necessary.
