The Special Education Preschool Teacher provides specialized instruction and support to preschool-aged children (ages 2.7–5) identified as students with disabilities. The teacher designs and implements individualized educational programs (IEPs), promotes language, social-emotional, and self-help skill development, and ensures a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. This position also includes supervision of classroom support staff and collaboration with families and related service providers to promote each child’s developmental progress.
New York State Special Education Certification, Bachelor's Degree, Special Education experience and familiarity with IEP's. Able to provide hands-on intervention if necessary. The employee will prepare quarterly progress reports, participates in crisis intervention and will maintain open and frequent communication with parents.

Pay: $57,876.00 - $72,274.00 per year
