Pay does depend on experience, skill (Set Up, Programming), and shift. The lowest wage starts at $22/hour for CNC Operators, with pay rising up to $32/hour (depending on skills and experience, like set up and programming). Responsibilities:
- Writing and interpreting instructions and procedures to assemble equipment and products accurately
- Load machines with work pieces
- Meet production goals
- Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces
- Configure machinery by entering instructions, including reference points, setting offsets, calculating requirements, and other set up work.
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Perform basic maintenance on machines
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Requirements:
- 2+ years of CNC experience (Lathes, Mills, Haas, Turning, etc.)
- Set Up and Programming experience is a major plus
- Knowledge of basic computer programs
