Green Analytical Laboratories is an environmental laboratory located in Durango, Colorado, that service the environmental, private and oil & gas sectors in the Four Corners Region. GAL has an immediate opening for a full-time Laboratory Analyst.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Green Analytical is hiring for a Laboratory Prep Analyst. Responsibilities include prepping and grinding soils, soil testing, metals prep, and some benchtop wet chemistry analyses.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
Basic knowledge and understanding of chemical hazards and safety equipment used in laboratory and a basic understanding of good laboratory practices.
Ability to stand for long periods.
A strong attention to detail while maintaining the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to accurately document and maintain records.
Professional communication skills.
Ability to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to maintain a positive and courteous attitude.
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
