We are currently seeking CDL-A Truck Drivers (OTR/Home) to join our growing team. As a qualified driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across state lines and completing long-haul deliveries.
Manual driving experience mandatory
Hours: Monday-Friday, occasional weekends. 75% home daily, 25% overnight. 75/25
Work: Dedicated runs, southeast area mostly.
Main run: Flatbed, step deck, double drop trailers: tarp, straps, chains.
Paid orientation, two weeks including training.
Experience:
1. If age 23 or 24:
- No major violation in the preceding 36 months
- Three (3) or less violations or maximum of one (1) accident and one (1) violation in the preceding 36 months
- No more than one (1) violation in the preceding 12 months
- Must have three (3) years driving experience in the type of vehicle to be insured
2. Age 25 or older:
- No major violation in the preceding 36 months
- Four (4) or less violations or maximum of one (1) accident and two (2) violations in the preceding 36 months
- No more than two (2) violations in the preceding 12 months
- Must have two (2) years driving experience in the type of vehicle to be insured
Flatbed Exp: 1 year (Preferred)
CDL A: 3 years experience (if age 23 or 24, required)
CDL A: 2 years experience (if age 25 or older, required)
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a semi truck, flatbed or other heavy equipment as required
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely and efficient delivery
- Ensure proper handling and securement of all cargo during transport
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate Class A endorsement
- 3 Years of CDL Driving experience required.
- 1 Year of Flatbed experience
- Satisfactory background check and drug screening
- Proven experience operating flat bed trucks or other heavy equipment
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past three years
- Ability to read maps and follow directions accurately
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Physical stamina and strength to handle loading/unloading tasks and perform vehicle inspections
