Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring all team members deliver top-notch customer service and food quality.
- Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance skills in food preparation, food safety, and customer engagement.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste to maintain profitability.
- Supervise food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations and safety standards across kitchen and front-of-house areas.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation with accuracy and integrity.
- Coordinate shift management activities including scheduling, assigning tasks, and supervising team members to optimize productivity.
- Support management in budgeting efforts, cost control measures, and maintaining operational standards that align with brand expectations.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and quick service or fast food restaurant environments.
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams in hospitality or restaurant settings.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking.
- Knowledge of inventory control practices, food safety protocols, and kitchen management procedures.
- Ability to train staff effectively in food handling, culinary techniques, and hospitality standards.
- Experience managing shift operations within casual dining or similar fast-paced food industry environments.
