Duties
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal wrap adhesion and finish quality
- Measure and cut vinyl wraps using hand tools and power tools to fit specific vehicle contours accurately
- Apply vehicle wraps, decals, and graphics with precision, utilizing airless paint spraying, buffing, and auto painting techniques when needed
- Use welding equipment and auto body repair skills to fix minor dents or imperfections prior to wrapping
- Operate auto glass tools for window removal or adjustments when necessary for seamless application
- Perform detailing and auto restoration tasks to enhance the overall appearance of vehicles before wrapping
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as fluid checks or minor repairs using mechanical knowledge and hand tools
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all procedures, including heavy lifting and the use of personal protective equipment
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or background in auto body repair, auto painting, or vehicle customization
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and auto repair equipment
- Skilled in auto estimating, detailing, buffing, auto glass work, and auto restoration techniques
- Experience with welding, airless paint spraying, auto painting, and buffing enhances application quality
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about project scope and timelines
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex wrapping projects
- Mechanic experience is a plus for understanding vehicle systems during prep work
