Intermediate Care RN
- Shifts: 12hr, 06:45-19:15
Job Summary:
Provides care to patients transitioning from ICU to a general medical-surgical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor patient status and administer treatments.
- Collaborate with care teams and provide patient education.
- Respond to emergencies according to protocols.
Requirements:
- RN license in state of assignment. Minimum 1-year(s) exp.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
- Experience in telemetry or step-down preferred.
- Strong assessment, multitasking, and crisis management skills.
Work Environment & Demands:
- Will work every other weekend
- Hospital settings (Med-Surg units, post-op recovery, step-down).
- Physical demands include standing, lifting patients/equipment, and stress management.
