Job Summary
We’re on the lookout for an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team. In this role, you’ll oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure top-notch food quality, and foster a positive environment for staff and guests alike. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, experienced in restaurant management, and ready to inspire a team to deliver outstanding service.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation according to established standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure high standards of food quality and safety.
- Must be able to line cook when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety.
- Coordinate shift schedules and manage staffing levels to meet the demands of busy service periods.
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment that promotes efficiency and safety at all times.
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth communication and excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management within full service dining environments.
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising kitchen staff and managing teams.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling and production.
- Fluent in Spanish a plus.
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
