Description:
A wonderful family in Rollingwood is looking for a warm, engaging weekend nanny to spend Saturdays and Sundays with their sweet 3½-year-old son while supporting their growing family. A baby girl is expected to arrive in August, and they are hoping to find someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships and becoming a long-term part of their family's support system.
Both parents work from home and value honesty, hard work, and open communication. After the baby arrives, the nanny will confidently care for both children, balancing the unique needs of a newborn and a toddler while fostering a loving sibling relationship.
The family also has two sweet Ragdoll cats, so the ideal nanny should be comfortable around pets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, nurturing care while prioritizing the children's safety and emotional well-being• Transport the toddler to and from activities using your own reliable vehicle• Plan and engage the children in fun, age-appropriate activities, outings, and learning opportunities• Support meals, naps, playtime, and other daytime routines while adapting to the family's changing needs after the baby's arrival• Complete child-related household tasks, including children's laundry, organizing play areas, and maintaining children's spaces• Communicate openly with parents and work collaboratively in a home where both parents work remotely
The Ideal Nanny:
- Has extensive experience caring for both newborns and toddlers• Is knowledgeable about developmental milestones and enjoys planning age-appropriate activities• Is proactive, attentive, and confident in managing the needs of two young children• Values structure, consistency, and positive routines• Is warm, dependable, and interested in building a long-term relationship with the family• Has excellent communication skills and takes initiative when appropriate• Is comfortable working in a home where both parents work remotely• Is a Spanish speaker (highly preferred, but not required)• Is comfortable around cats
Position Details:
- Location: Rollingwood• Schedule: Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m
- Hours: 16 guaranteed hours per week• Start Date: As soon as possible• Pay: $35 to $40 per hour
Requirements:
- Current COVID, Tdap, MMR, and flu vaccinations• Reliable personal vehicle for transporting the toddler to and from activities
