Rockville Commons Ranch Manager | Owyhee County, Idaho
THE OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for a rare kind of person — someone who doesn't just want a job, but a life.
Rockville Commons is a remote, off-grid ranch in the high desert of Owyhee County, Idaho, completely surrounded by BLM land. No private neighbors for miles. Big sky. Absolute quiet. And a vision: to build one of the first true ecolonomic demonstration ranches in the American West — where regenerative agriculture, circular economy principles, and land stewardship come together into something that actually works.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Commute daily to the ranch and infrequently to our Nampa location
- Serve as the eyes, ears, and hands of the property, alongside an onsite caretaker
- Complete a wide variety of "handyman" type activities
- Assist with ongoing ranch development — fencing, water systems, animal care, garden/pasture work
- Support regenerative agriculture projects as the ranch grows
- Assist with dog training and care of owners' dogs
- Coordinate with ownership remotely on projects and progress
- Welcome visitors and work crews
WHO YOU ARE
- Self-sufficient and comfortable being truly remote
- Real farming/ranching experience — not just the dream of it
- Mission-aligned — you care about regenerative land stewardship
- Trustworthy, handy, problem-solver
- Bonus: dogs, horses, or off-grid power experience
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive monthly compensation
- Real autonomy — we trust our people
- Long-term opportunity as the ranch grows
