Position: CDL B Driver & Field Operator
Location: Nationwide Travel Role

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a CDL B Driver & Field Operator to support specialized pavement maintenance and airfield operations projects across the United States.
This is not a traditional driving-only position. In addition to operating commercial vehicles, you will assist with field operations, equipment setup, material handling, and project support activities. Candidates must be comfortable with extensive travel, outdoor work, and physically demanding environments.
What You'll Do
- Operate CDL B commercial vehicles transporting equipment, materials, paint, sealants, and project supplies
- Travel nationwide to support airport, roadway, and pavement maintenance projects
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials
- Support field crews with pavement marking, striping, crack sealing, and seal coating operations
- Participate in equipment setup and teardown activities
- Perform basic equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Assist with general labor and project support functions
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
Travel & Schedule
- Nationwide travel is required
- Projects may last 8–12 weeks at a time
- Typical workdays are approximately 12 hours
- Significant overtime opportunities available
- Work schedules may include weekends during active projects
- Guaranteed home time for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
- Candidates may reside anywhere within the United States
Requirements
- Valid CDL B License (CDL A holders are also encouraged to apply)
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT drug screening and background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to travel extensively and work extended schedules
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Construction or paving experience
- Pavement maintenance experience
- Striping, seal coating, or crack sealing experience
- Heavy equipment operation experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Airport, DOT, roadway, or infrastructure project experience

- The ideal candidate enjoys travel, teamwork, hands-on work, and the opportunity to earn substantial overtime. This position is best suited for individuals who are comfortable working both behind the wheel and alongside field crews in active project environments
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
