Traveling construction superintendent for commercial projects located throughout the southeast. Grocery store experience a plus. Remodel and ground-up projects. Looking for lead superintendents and working foremen.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise, inspect and approve day to day operations of Commercial Construction projects
- Completing all required on-site paperwork
- Coordinating construction project with store management, subcontractors and PSI employees
- Representing PSI with professionalism and integrity
- Schedule, manage, and assist, as needed, subcontractors
- Set expectations of subcontractor and hold them accountable for results
- Provide direct accountability for job safety reporting and documentation
- Complete reports and documentation required or requested by management
- Inspect and secure jobsite to prevent damages and theft
- Ensure a safe work environment by following and enforcing safety standards
- Establish sequence & manner to carry out work, consistent with Project Manager's direction and to keep project on schedule
- Ability & willingness to study, understand, direct, perform, based on construction drawings
- Prepare and document job meetings, safety meetings, reports, daily pictures & logs
- Be willing to physically work as needed
- Always be willing to accomplish any other task that may be required at any given time
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience as a commercial construction superintendent.
- Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications and construction documents.
- Oversee all trades to ensure the project is being built per the construction documents.
- Own/ use phone & laptop with strong communication skills (call, email & text) and able to take/ send pictures.
- Proficient in Excel, Outlook & Word. Able to do time cards, expense reports, fill out Purchase Orders, etc.
- Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel throughout the southeast (we're licensed in TN, GA, KY, AL, LA, FL, SC, NC, VA, WV, PA, MD & DE).
- Able to work nights for remodel projects and weekends if needed
- OSHA 10, CPR/ First Aid certifications
- Ability to take the provided overall schedule and draft 3-week look ahead schedules, hold & run weekly job site meetings, and maintain or exceed the project schedule.
- Hire help as needed (carpenters/ laborers/ temp help)
- Keep excellent communication with Owners reps, clients, RPM Project Manager & Office
