We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dental team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinical team, ensuring high standards of patient care, maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines, and supporting a positive team culture. The RDA will work chairside with the dentist and act as a clinical liaison between the dental assistants and office management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct chairside dental assistance to the dentist(s) during procedures.
- Lead, mentor, and train the dental assistant team to ensure clinical excellence.
- Coordinate daily clinical operations, including staff assignments, schedules, and workflow.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment; oversee ordering and organization.
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols.
- Support onboarding and training of new dental assistants.
- Perform quality checks on sterilization procedures and operatory setup.
- Communicate with the front office and providers to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Serve as a point of contact for clinical concerns and escalate as needed.
- Monitor performance and provide constructive feedback to the assistant team.
- Assist with performance evaluations and staff development initiatives.
- Help enforce policies and uphold the culture and values of the practice.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in TX.
- Current certifications in CPR/BLS, radiology, and infection control.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental assistant, with 1+ year in a leadership role preferred.
- Strong understanding of dental procedures, terminology, and instruments.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to lead a team, resolve conflicts, and delegate tasks effectively.
- Comfortable with electronic dental records (Open Dental).
- Bilingual a plus (optional, depending on the practice).

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
