Panakeia, LLC is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for Veterans by providing exceptional home oxygen equipment and services through the Veterans Health Administration. We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Delivery Technician/Driver to join our growing team. This role is vital in supporting patient care at home through accurate delivery, thorough documentation, and compassionate service.
Essential Functions:
As a Delivery Technician/Driver, your primary responsibilities will focus on:
- Delivering oxygen equipment and supplies to patients in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
- Educating patients and caregivers on the proper and safe use of equipment, reinforcing best practices in home health care.
- Completing all required documentation accurately and in compliance with company protocols and healthcare regulations, ensuring proper patient records are maintained.
- Maintaining inventory records to ensure timely, complete, and efficient deliveries to patients.
- Providing patient-centered service, addressing questions or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Assisting in warehouse operations to ensure equipment is clean, organized, and ready for use.
- Participating in on-call rotation to ensure uninterrupted patient support.
Qualifications:
- Pass background and 5 Panel Drug Screen
- Strong focus on patient care and safety
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 150 lbs occasionally
- Professional, dependable, and compassionate demeanor
- Real ID or Passport
Experience & Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in EMS, home care, DME, or medical delivery preferred
- Familiarity with EMR, inventory systems and electronic documentation a plus
