SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
We are looking for full- or part-time Sales Associates to join our team at the Brasswood Boutique by M.Fredric. The ideal candidate is energetic, sales oriented, self-motivated, fashion-forward, and enjoys the hospitality industry. Full-time candidates will have access to benefits such as health insurance and 401K.
Brasswood Boutique is a women's clothing store with a Napa Valley twist. In our shop, along with women’s fashion, we feature some of our own Brasswood Estate Wines as well as hand selected local spirits. Our boutique has brand recognizable clothing, a wide variety of seasonal fashion with unique hand selected jewelry and accessories.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Greet and engage customers to ensure an exceptional shopping experience.
- Maintain strong knowledge of current fashion trends, product lines, designers, and the Brasswood Estate brand story and vision.
- Build relationships with customers by learning their preferred brands and styles, following up on purchases, and notifying them of new arrivals that match their interests.
- Learn and apply sales strategies established by the Boutique Manager.
- Restock merchandise, organize the stockroom, and maintain cleanliness and order on the sales floor.
- Perform opening and closing procedures as assigned.
- Receive, steam, and display new merchandise according to visual standards.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding hospitality and drive sales
- Highly organized and keen attention to detail
- Enthusiastic about fashion, trends and styling customers, with a comprehensive understanding of all store products
- Skilled at working both independently and as part of a team
- Retail customer service skills and overall positive attitude
- Familiarity with retail POS systems a plus
- Basic knowledge of food, wine and the Napa Valley (a willingness to learn)
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The employee frequently is required to stand and walk for long periods. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift boxes and wine cases up to 50 pounds.
