ExcelCare Home Health is a growing home health agency dedicated to providing high-quality skilled nursing and therapy services to patients in the comfort of their homes. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented PT Coordinator / Intake & Payroll Coordinator to join our team.
Position Summary
The PT Coordinator / Intake & Payroll Coordinator will support day-to-day home health operations by coordinating therapy services, managing patient intake, assisting with scheduling, and supporting payroll activities.
Responsibilities
Home Health Intake
- Receive and process new patient referrals
- Verify patient demographics and required documentation
- Coordinate admissions and start-of-care activities
- Communicate with referral sources, physicians, hospitals, and case managers
- Maintain patient records and intake tracking
PT Coordination
- Coordinate Physical Therapy evaluations and visits
- Schedule and track PT orders and documentation
- Follow up on outstanding physician signatures and authorizations
- Support therapists with scheduling and care coordination
Payroll & Administrative Support
- Review clinician timesheets and visit records
- Assist with payroll preparation and reconciliation
- Monitor completed visits and documentation status
- Support office reporting and administrative functions
Qualifications
- Atleast 2 years previous experience in Home Health intake, scheduling, therapy coordination, or payroll
- Knowledge of Medicare home health processes is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office
