Description:
As a CNA, you’ll help residents feel comfortable, cared for, and respected by assisting with daily activities and providing compassionate support throughout the day.
Your responsibilities will include:

Answering resident call lights and responding with care and urgency

Assisting residents with daily living activities such as:
- Dressing
- Grooming
- Bathing
- Oral hygiene
- Hair care
- Incontinence care
- Helping residents during mealtimes and encouraging hydration

Supporting mobility, transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises
-
Assisting with turning and positioning residents safely
-
Taking and recording vital signs
-
Documenting resident care and services accurately
-
Participating in care planning discussions with the healthcare team
-
Providing person-centered care based on each resident’s preferences and needs
-
Creating a positive, respectful, and uplifting environment for residents and coworkers alike
What we're looking for:

Current CNA certification in the applicable state
-
Compassionate and patient personality
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Ability to stay calm and act quickly in emergency situations
-
Dependable attendance and professionalism
-
Commitment to maintaining resident dignity and confidentiality
Experience in long-term care is great, but a caring attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.

Competitive pay- $20-$28/hour depending on experience

Requirements:
Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Licenses/Certification

Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment.

Valid CPR certificate preferred.
Experience
-
Six months experience in a long term-care environment preferred, but not required!
