We are seeking a Lab Technician / Patient Care Coordinator to join our team!
CryoGam Colorado is Colorado’s only commercial sperm and cryobank specializing in donor sperm, andrology testing, sperm banking, and long-term storage of sperm, oocytes, and embryos. Position Responsibilities:
Laboratory:
· QC/QA monitoring of laboratory equipment
· Processing specimens for initial stage of semen analyses, donor and personal cryopreservation, and sperm washing for intrauterine inseminations
· Maintaining cleanliness and order of laboratory
· Perform morphology staining
· Ordering and maintaining supplies for both lab and office
· Venipuncture and preparation of blood for send out
· Weekend/holiday call – schedule and pay to be discussed
Patient Care Coordination:
· Daily management of phone calls, emails, and voicemails
· Administrative tasks including scheduling, entering bills for payment, upkeep of forms and pre-made packets
· Patient/client check-in and payment
· Patient education via phone and email
· Coordination of tissue transfers to and from other laboratories, including donor sperm orders
· Use of QuickBooks for invoicing, billing, and patient records
· Charting and filing of patient information
· Website maintenance
· Marketing and advertisement development
· Social media platform postings

Education and Experience:
· Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Reproduction, Biomedical Science, or similar field. Preference will be given to applicants with graduate level education.
- Preference given to semen preparation experience (human or animal)
- Venipuncture certification advantageous (willing to train if not)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America.
Minimal travel to satellite offices (Denver and Boulder) required. Use of company vehicle provided for travel. Valid Driver’s license with good driving record required.

-Full-time position including 38 hour work-week with daily 1 hour lunch break (we close early on Fridays)

-Compensation depending on experience and education level. Pay range begins at $20-23/hr during an initial 90-day probationary period with a raise after successful completion and satisfactory performance.
