Sow & Seed is a boutique Black women owned and operated group practice serving clients in Illinois! At Sow and Seed, we are committed to community health and we understand at the bedrock of such, relationships are fundamental. We are seeking limited permit therapists/mental health counselors LPC’s who are available for full-time work, approximately 15-25+ client hours/week. We are not able to supervise MSWs at this time.
This is a fee for service & w2 position. Hourly rates start at $50-$110 for LPC (this range is based on the service provided and if the client is utilizing insurance).
We accept BCBS PPO & Aetna PPO and all major credit cards/HSA and provide superbills for insurance reimbursement) As with most private practice positions, clinicians tend to start part time as they build out their caseload! The practice will assist with referrals. The clinician will learn invaluable skills around marketing and attracting their dream clients/caseload.
Who We are Looking For:
Ideal candidates have a niche interest in relational work (i.e., family system, interpersonal dynamics, couples, etc) or have a desire to build a niche in these areas. Candidates must be licensed in the state of Illinois (full or provisional) Ideal candidates also have demonstrated experience working in and alongside diverse communities. Candidates will have an interest in working from a psychodynamic, relational, culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and integrative lens. We are looking to enrich our community with creative, innovative, culturally humble, and curious therapists with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Qualifications:
- Active Illinois license (LPC)
- Interest and competency in providing individual, couples, and family counseling
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Desire to niche
