We are looking for an experienced Chief Engineer with a background preferably in the hotel industry as well as excellent customer service skills and general computer knowledge. Candidate should have experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, pool and maintenance upkeep.
Job Requirements: Candidate should meet the following criteria:
· Minimum 5 years work experience preferably in Hospitality Segment
· Knowledge of OSHA standards and application.
· Knowledge of local fire codes, standpipe, sprinkler and interior fire alarms.
· Knowledge of plumbing and electricity
· Skilled in the use of hand tools.
· Ability to perform duties within extreme temperature ranges and high noise.
· Ability to perform duties within confined spaces.
· Knowledge of building mechanical systems.
· Ability to access and input information using a computer system.
· Basic English language communication and mathematical skills in order to comprehend job assignments.
· Ability to grasp, lift, or carry items weighing up to 80lbs.
· Ability to remain alert throughout the duration of shift and remain calm during emergencies.
· Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping and kneeling.
· Ability to push and pull objects or materials weighing up to 100lbs.
· Ability to climb stairs and ladders, working at heights and at times overhead, while standing on ladder or stairs.
· Complete all general maintenance assigned maintenance requests, ensuring timely completion, thoroughness, standard of quality and cost effectiveness.
· Work, operate, visually inspect, maintain and repair all building equipment to include electrical, fire, pool, computers, HVAC, plumbing, roofing and structural venues.
· Ensure that scheduled maintenance is completed by fellow maintenance staff
· Provide quick and professional service to all room calls, particularly when the guest is present.
· Maintain security of all keys, radios, tools and other assigned and department property.
· Work various shifts as needed.
· Visually inspect, monitor, maintain and test all emergency and life safety systems.
· Record utility meter readings.
· Make emergency repairs to plumbing, kitchen and other building equipment.
Due to the nature of the business the individual may be required to do other functions as assigned by the supervisor, such as cleaning of workstation and other various tasks.

Main Responsibilities:
Manage budget, capital expenditures, preventative maintenance and energy conservation. Accountable for maintaining the building and grounds with particular attention towards safety, security and asset protection. Assigns, tracks and follows up on status of work assigned to staff and contractors. Helps to increase guest and employee satisfaction through effective communications and training.
