Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time Music, Art, Library, and Extended Care staff to enrich our students’ educational experience. Art Position: 1 - 2 days a week from 8:30am-3:15pm
Music Position: 1 -2 days a week 8:30am-3:15pm
Library Position: 1 - 2 days a week approximately 8:30am-3:15pm
Extended Care: Monday-Friday 6:45am-8:15am
Responsibilities for various positions:
- Music/Art: Deliver engaging music and/or art lessons tailored to diverse learning styles and developmental levels, incorporating curriculum development and implementation strategies.
- Library: Manage library resources by organizing materials, assisting students with research, and promoting literacy education through reading programs and storytelling sessions.
- Extended Care: Supervise students during extended care periods, ensuring a safe, inclusive environment that supports social-emotional growth and behavior management.
- Facilitate classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior and encourage student participation across all activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, behavioral updates, and upcoming events to strengthen home-school connections.
Experience
- Prior classroom teaching experience in elementary or early childhood education settings is highly preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional modifications aligned with educational compliance standards.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, parents, and students’ families.
- Experience in music instruction or art education is desirable but not mandatory; enthusiasm for fostering creativity is essential.
