Job Overview:
Tom Ludwig, Inc. is seeking full-time woodworker in Greendale, WI. Our custom furniture shop hand-crafts furniture primarily for Penny Mustard Furnishings including dining room tables, chairs, beds, dressers, tv stands, and occasional tables. We handle all steps in the furniture building process from milling the lumber to applying a quality finish. Ideal candidates will enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
Must be able to read a tape measure and use a drill gun. We are willing to train the right person.
40-45 Hours per week. Monday – Thursday from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm. ½ day Fridays from 6:30 am to 12:00 pm when necessary.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Sanding, assemble drawer boxes, pre-assemblies, and cabinets per drawings and specifications.
- Help in the Furniture Finishing and Assembly Process.
- Setup and Operate all relevant tools and machines.
- Using hand tools, saws, and sanders ideal.
- Willing to learn multiple woodworking production steps
- Read work orders and shop drawings.
- Maintains clean and safe work environment.
- Seek opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- 40-45 Hours; standing

Pay: $18.00 per hour
