Home Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) | Olympia, Washington | Magenta Care
Magenta Care is seeking a highly skilled and confident Home Infusion RN who takes pride in IV excellence and delivering elevated, patient-centered care in the home. This is a per-diem, home-based position serving patients in Olympia, WA and the surrounding South Sound area, with travel up to one to two hours outside Olympia as needed.
What You'll Do
Independently manage in-home infusion visits within the RN scope of practice
Perform comprehensive patient assessments
Start and maintain peripheral IVs, including difficult sticks; access and manage PICCs, ports, and central lines
Administer IVIG, biologics, antibiotics, hydration, and specialty infusions
Monitor for adverse reactions and troubleshoot complications (infiltration, occlusion, pump alarms, hypersensitivity reactions)
Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, side effects, and self-care
Document and promptly communicate changes in patient condition to the care team and physician
What You Bring
Active Washington State RN license or Multistate (Compact) RN license
Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, or ICU)
Excellent IV insertion skills; experience with central lines, ports, and PICCs preferred
Healthcare provider CPR / Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current WA driver's license with proof of insurability and reliable transportation
Preferred (Highly Valued)
CRNI (Certified Registered Nurse Infusion) or IgCN certification
Home infusion experience
BSN preferred, but not required
