Maintenance Technician
Full-Time
Shelbyville, IN
Compensation DOE: Up to $35/hr.
Skilled and self-driven Maintenance Technician to join our 3rd shift team in Shelbyville, IN. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a wide range of industrial equipment and systems. Your expertise will help ensure our operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems
- Perform critical repairs and component replacements to minimize downtime
- Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks effectively
- Adjust and maintain robotic weld systems, jigs, and fabrication equipment
- Work with automation systems including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and work orders
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical drawings
- Experience with Mitsubishi PLCs and robotic systems (Fanuc, Motoman, Panasonic)
- Proficiency in TIG/MIG welding and equipment repair
- Solid understanding of automation and electrical diagnostics using meters
Maintenance Technician Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in a technical field (not required but a plus)
- Familiarity with Mitsubishi PLC programming and robotic integration
