Project Coordinator
Lawler Construction, Inc. – Sedona / Verde Valley, AZ
For over 40 years, Lawler Construction, Inc. has specialized in building high-end custom homes throughout the Sedona and Verde Valley markets. We are seeking a full-time Project Coordinator with a keen eye for detail and a passion for exceptional homebuilding to join our team.
This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, excellent communication, and a high level of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute bid requests, rough estimates, and final proposals
- Develop and maintain preconstruction schedules, ensuring milestones are clearly defined and tracked
- Interface with engineers, trades, building departments, and HOAs as needed
- Review plans, note redlines, and ensure updates are communicated
- Coordinate with trade partners, superintendents, and suppliers to keep projects on schedule
- Produce and distribute purchase orders, maintaining accurate records for all trades and suppliers
- Prepare and track change orders and associated documentation
- Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates
- Develop trade-specific scopes of work and maintain scope clarity
- Support clients throughout design and construction for a seamless experience
- Manage permit applications and HOA submittals
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; construction-related degree a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) or equivalent software
- Experience in estimating and creating quantity take-offs preferred
- Ability to create and track detailed preconstruction schedules
- AutoCAD or DraftSight experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Buildertrend or similar construction management software is beneficial
- Minimum 5 years of residential construction and/or estimating experience preferred
- Must be teachable, flexible, honest, humble, and receptive to direction

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $45,000 – $80,000 annually (DOE)
- Paid vacation after one year of employment

- On-site at our Cottonwood office
