Lead Kinder Prep Teacher (Pre-K) – Christian Preschool

We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and Christ-centered Lead Kinder Prep Teacher who has a passion for preparing children academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually for kindergarten. This leader will guide a classroom with excellence, mentor Teacher's Assistants, build strong relationships with families, and create an engaging environment where children thrive.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and manage a Kinder Prep classroom with confidence, organization, and consistency
- Implement our Abeka curriculum while creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences
- Prepare students for kindergarten through intentional instruction in literacy, math, writing, science, and social studies
- Teach Bible lessons, lead praise and worship, and pray with and for children and families
- Mentor, train, and encourage Teacher's Assistants to help them grow and succeed
- Foster positive relationships and communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress and classroom happenings
- Create a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment that supports every child's growth
- Model Christ-like behavior while teaching character, kindness, responsibility, and respect
- Observe student development and partner with administration to support individual learning needs
- Maintain classroom organization, lesson planning, assessments, and required documentation
- Follow all state licensing and health district regulations and procedures
What We're Looking For:
- A genuine love for Jesus and a passion for discipling young children
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, encourage, and develop others
- Excellent classroom management and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills with parents, coworkers, and administration
- Childcare or early childhood education experience required
- CDA credential or a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred. Candidates with these qualifications will receive priority consideration.
- Experience with Abeka curriculum is a plus
