American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with at least 2 years of OR experience for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment in Washington State, working weekends with call requirements.

Work in an acute care hospital OR with 11 suites averaging 30–40 cases per day
-
Common case types include neuro, spine, ortho, vascular, thoracic, general, trauma, GYN, urology, ENT, robotics, and plastics
-
12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), with call requirements

Mandatory call requirement of 2–3 calls per 6-week schedule

Call response time is 20 minutes for trauma cases and 30 minutes for non-trauma cases

Floating to Walters may be required

EMR: Epic
-
Minimum of 2 years of OR experience required; trauma experience preferred

WA State surgical technologist license required if applicable

BLS certification required (active; pending certifications not accepted)

COVID vaccination required

Epic EMR experience preferred

2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Hospital-provided scrubs are supplied — no need to bring your own

Unit-specific orientation is provided (12 hours)

Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
