Primary Role:
Responsible for delivery of product to customer work sites as directed.
Responsibilities:
- Load, deliver, and unload products for customers as dispatched
- Ensure materials are packaged correctly for transport and properly secure each load prior to transport
- Know and work within the safe working limits of the vehicle and equipment
- Commitment to safe work practices including: safe handling of products; ergonomically correct lifting techniques; workspace free of potential hazards; immediate reporting of and corrective action taken for any incidents; proper identification of all hazardous materials at the worksite; proper stacking and storage of products within the yard
- Proper operation, certification and maintenance of equipment and vehicle
- Meet customer expectations
- Meet the operational objectives while complying with the overall corporate goals
- Maintain a safe working environment and promote health and safety awareness
- Identify, investigate, and correct unsafe practices
- Meet set deadlines
Minimum Required Education:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Available to work weekends if necessary.
- Valid CDL class A Driver’s license.
- Yard forklift to load and unload trucks.
- Tractor trailer with manual transmission.
- Double, Triple and Tanker endorsement preferred.
