This is a unique part-time position designed for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) / Clinical Fellow (CFY) who wants to go beyond standard speech therapy. - Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT): Learn to assess and treat oral resting posture, swallowing disorders, and tongue thrusts.
- PROMPT Therapy: Master tactile-kinesthetic prompts to help patients map out articulatory movements.
- Feeding Therapy: Gain confidence in addressing sensory and motor-based feeding difficulties.
- Pediatric Language & Communication: Expand your toolkit for diverse language disorders.
- CFY Mentorship: Exceptional, supportive supervision that meets all ASHA requirements to help you earn your CCCs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate closely with families, providing them with education and home carryover strategies.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation (SOAP notes, progress reports, and evaluations).
- Actively participate in training sessions and apply new modalities (PROMPT, Myofunctional, etc.) in daily practice.
What We Are Looking For
- Education: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Licensure: Active State License.
- Experience Level: We are explicitly seeking a candidate for the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) / Clinical Fellow (CFY) track who possesses a strong growth mindset.
- Availability: Ability to work after-school hours. Schedule can span Monday through Saturday based on mutual availability.
