Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments, obtain vital signs, and document medical histories.
- Prepare patients for interventional pain procedures and assist the physician as needed.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Provide patient education regarding procedures, medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
- Communicate with patients regarding clinical concerns, medication questions, and physician recommendations.
- Coordinate prescription requests, referrals, imaging, labs, and follow-up appointments.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Recognize changes in a patient's condition and appropriately communicate concerns to the physician.
- Assist with maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient clinical environment.
- Follow all applicable clinical, regulatory, infection-control, and patient-safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with the physician and office staff to provide an exceptional patient experience.
- Perform other clinical duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of [State].
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current BLS certification.
- Previous outpatient, procedural, pain management, surgery, or critical-care experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Professional, dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented.
- Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a small clinical team.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records is preferred
Pay: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour
