Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Hold ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), or be a Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY)
- Licensed or eligible as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience with teletherapy and in-person school-based services
- Background in healthcare-based SLP/SLPA settings is a plus
- Passion for working with students of diverse backgrounds and needs
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy for students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support IEP goals and student progress
- Provide both direct and virtual speech/language therapy sessions as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, conferences, and ongoing professional development
- Adapt therapy approaches to address a variety of communication challenges
