Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Water Mitigation Technician to join our dynamic restoration team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of emergency response efforts, helping clients recover from water damage, flooding, mold removal and remediation and related disasters. Your expertise will be vital in executing water, mold and flood projects efficiently and safely, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency calls for water damage, flood, or mold remediation situations, demonstrating strong emergency response readiness.
- Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and cleaning tasks using specialized equipment and techniques.
- Apply safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and respiratory protection, to ensure a safe work environment.
- Assist with fire restoration projects by removing debris, cleaning affected areas, and supporting structural drying efforts.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly to transport equipment and personnel to job sites while adhering to safety standards.
- Conduct detailed inspections of affected areas, documenting damages using Magicplan/I Pad Scanner for accurate project scope and cost estimation.
- Support mold remediation efforts by identifying mold growth, containing affected areas, and performing cleaning or removal as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure on-call coverage for urgent situations and maintain flexibility to work outside regular hours when necessary.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by communicating effectively with clients, providing updates on project progress, and addressing concerns professionally.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in restoration industry work or construction is highly preferred; however, motivated candidates with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of water damage restoration processes, flood recovery techniques, and mold remediation is a plus.
- Ability to operate restoration equipment such as extractors, dryers, dehumidifiers, carpet cleaning tools, and other industry-specific machinery.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures accurately.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including on-call shifts during emergencies or after-hours projects.

Pay: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour
