Our accounting department is an important part of our administrative team that supports our mission to provide the community with the best produce and natural products. Our Data Entry Specialist is responsible for the customer invoicing, the collections process, and providing overall clerical support for the administrative office.
WORKING FOR ANDY’S PRODUCE MARKET
As a Data Entry Specialist, you will have the opportunity to:
- Manage customer invoicing by receiving and accurately entering invoice data into QuickBooks and accounting systems
- Diligently pursue delinquent accounts and overdue payments through phone and email
- Act as the main point of contact for accounting inquiries by promptly and professionally answering phone calls, routing all other calls to the appropriate team member
- Maintain an organized workspace and workflow that is consistent with established filing and retention expectations
- Provide clerical support to administrative staff as needed, including collating and filing accounting documents, managing inventory of supplies, and other tasks as needed
WHAT YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE
This position is ideal for someone who:
- Has previous experience with QuickBooks
- Is self motivated with a professional demeanor and interpersonal skills to communicate with a variety of vendors, coworkers, and members of the public
- Has a personality that is comfortable with routines and repetitive work tasks and can remain productive in a casual work setting
- Requires a part-time flexible schedule - this position may work any combination of hours from 8:00am - 3:00pm Monday through Friday based on the needs of the individual and the company
