Badger State Waste LLC is looking for an independent and self-starting Agriculture Field Operator to join our small business. The potential field operator would be unloading tanker trailers via a pump for distribution onto DNR approved farm fields with a Tractor. The field operator would be required to work outside during our sludge season (Spring, Summer, Fall). A CDL is a plus. Our customer base is in Wisconsin. We have a small friendly work environment and would love to add a full-time employee to our growing team.
Responsibilities:
· Transporting municipal sludge from a tanker trailer to agriculture fields via drag line and/or tanker.
· Inspect equipment for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
· Plan field routes.
· Take care of confirming field sheet is being filled out by the truck drivers.
· Comply with company policies and procedures.
· Maneuver equipment into loading or unloading positions.
· Collect driver daily logs/field sheets, etc.
· Report defects, accidents or violations.
Requirements:
· Ability to run equipment for long hours and travel as needed.
· Knowledge of running tractor, tankers, drag-line, etc.
· No recent moving or driving violations.
· May travel during sludge season (Hotels will be covered).
· Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.).
· Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide recommendations.
· Valid driver's license.
