We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Mental Health Professional (MHP) / Mental Health Specialist (MHS) to provide high-quality mental health services to individuals and families as needed. The ideal candidate is client-centered, culturally competent, and committed to supporting emotional well-being, recovery, and resilience through evidence-based practices.
This position is mainly providing crisis services to clients as needed, however there is opportunity to provide other services as well.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individual/group counseling as assigned
- Assist with developing and implementing treatment goals in with clients
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory standards
- Monitor client progress and make adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary
- Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards (HIPAA)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing mental health services in a clinical, community, or behavioral health setting
- Experience working with diverse populations or specific groups (e.g., adolescents, adults, trauma survivors, substance use, severe mental illness)
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices (CBT, TFCBT, EMDR, DBT, trauma-informed care, etc.)
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR systems)
Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
