We are currently seeking a full-time Sign Installer / Print Production Specialist to join our team.
This is a hands-on position that combines sign installation, vinyl graphics, large-format printing, production, and sign service. If you enjoy working with your hands, using tools and equipment, solving problems, and working somewhere different from day to day, this may be a great opportunity.
Our team installs and services signs of all sizes on buildings, poles, storefronts, structures, and other locations. You will also assist with production work including large-format printing, laminating, vinyl cutting, weeding, finishing, and graphic installation.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, self-motivated, and a strong team player who can work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent service to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Install and remove building signs, ground signs, banners, vinyl graphics, sign faces, dimensional lettering, and other signage
- Verify signage matches the work order, including spelling, dimensions, colors, materials, and installation requirements
- Prepare installation areas and mounting surfaces
- Remove existing signage when required
- Install signs using ladders, lifts, bucket trucks, hand tools, power tools, and other installation equipment
- Assist with electrical sign installation, service, and maintenance
- Perform vinyl installation on windows, walls, sign panels, and vehicles
- Load, unload, transport, and safely handle signs and materials
- Travel locally and occasionally out of town for installations
- Communicate professionally with customers and jobsite personnel
- Maintain company tools, vehicles, equipment, and work areas
- Follow company safety procedures at all times
- Assist with shop production when needed
Print & Production Responsibilities
Candidate should be willing to learn and assist with:
- Large-format printing
- Vinyl cutting and plotter operation
- Laminating
- Vinyl weeding and masking/taping
- Mounting and finishing printed graphics
- Applying vinyl and digital graphics
- Preparing signs for installation
- Operating large-format printers, laminators, vinyl cutters, routers, and other sign-production equipment
- Basic vehicle graphic and lettering installation
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license required
- Sign installation, construction, electrical, fabrication, graphics, or similar hands-on experience preferred
- Comfortable working with hand tools and power tools
- Good mechanical and technical ability
- Strong measuring and basic math skills
- Ability to read measurements, layouts, diagrams, and job instructions
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working outdoors and at different job sites
- Comfortable working from ladders and elevated equipment
- Able to lift, carry, and handle materials weighing up to 100 lbs. with appropriate assistance/equipment
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Professional attitude when interacting with customers
