Springer’s Jewelers is seeking an experienced Controller to lead our accounting and financial operations. This is a high-impact role responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, strengthening internal controls, and providing insights that help drive business performance.
This position works closely with executive leadership and plays a key role in supporting financial strategy, improving processes, and helping guide the company’s continued growth.
What You’ll Do

Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, financial close, and reporting

Ensure timely and accurate financial statements and reporting

Maintain strong internal controls and compliance standards

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Provide clear financial insights to support business decisions

Manage cash flow and support overall financial health

Improve processes and systems to increase efficiency

Lead and develop the accounting team

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

CPA preferred

5–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership

Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls

Experience managing close processes and audits
-
Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
