Job Summary
Employee in this position is responsible for the sanitation and upkeep of golf carts and practice range at Lakewood Golf Course and other duties as assigned. Must exercise courtesy and tact when coming in contact with golf course patrons; must be able to perform assigned duties with moderate supervision.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
The following duties are normal for this position. Other duties may be required, assigned and expected aside from those set forth below to address operational needs and changing operational practices.
Responsible for ensuring all golf carts are clean and stored in the proper area.
Pick up and bad range balls at the end of the day.
Keep range balls clean at all times.
Ensure cart storage area is clean and orderly at all times.
Keep carts on the staging line in the afternoon so as to assist golf shop staff.
Gas all golf carts on Sunday of each week, or as needed; never let cart gas tank level get below half-tank.
Report gas consumption to the golf shop staff so it may be recorded in the gas log.
Ensure parking lot area is clean and free of liter at the end of each day.
Any other duties as may be deemed necessary to ensure a first class facility by the golf shop staff.
