Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Worker to provide essential support and care to individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with developmental disabilities, memory impairments, and other health conditions. Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts or assisting with transfers.
- Provide personalized care in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care settings, including medication administration reminder.
- Support individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's by implementing memory care strategies and behavior management techniques to promote comfort and safety.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness in dining areas and kitchens.
- Document care activities accurately using Axiscare and update care plans regularly.
- Engage in social work activities by fostering meaningful interactions, conflict management, and supporting emotional well-being.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning resident spaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
