PSG is a fast‑growing construction and infrastructure firm specializing in mission‑critical environments. We are seeking a high‑impact Business Development Manager – Data Centers to drive the pursuit and capture of data center projects across the United States.
You will work closely with senior leadership and the Head of Business Development to identify opportunities, build trusted relationships with data center owners/operators, lead site assessments, and manage competitive bidding for professional services contracts. Success in this position directly contributes to our revenue growth and market share in the rapidly expanding US data center sector (hyperscale, colocation, AI/ML, and enterprise facilities).
2. Duties
- Proactively identify, research, and qualify high‑value data center project opportunities (new construction, expansions, renovations, fit‑outs) across major US markets.
- Build and actively manage a robust sales pipeline in our CRM, tracking every opportunity from identification through contract award.
- Conduct market analysis on power availability, land constraints, AI demand, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to prioritize pursuit activities.
- Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key decision‑makers at data center owners, developers, hyperscalers, and enterprise clients.
- Plan and execute client visits, site inspections, and project assessments to understand requirements and position PSG competitively.
- Lead or support the full bid/proposal process – from RFP analysis and go/no‑go decisions to final submission – ensuring proposals are compelling, compliant, and differentiated.
- Coordinate cross‑functional pursuit teams (technical, estimating, project management, legal, finance) to develop winning strategies and high‑quality deliverables.
- Serve as a key source of market intelligence on US data center trends; provide regular insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare high‑quality BD reports (pipeline, win rates, monthly/quarterly summaries) for senior management.
- Mentor junior team members or interns on data‑center‑specific research, lead qualification, and professional BD practices.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 4–6 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or project pursuit within construction, engineering, project management, or the data center / critical facilities sector.
- Proven track record of winning competitive bids and securing projects, ideally in data centers or mission‑critical facilities.
