Weekend On-Call CNA/HCA (PRN)
Comfort Keepers is hiring an experienced Weekend On-Call CNA or HCA!
We're looking for a dependable, experienced caregiver to provide weekend on-call coverage for occasional staffing needs. This position is ideal for someone who wants supplemental income while remaining available to assist when needed.
Key Requirements
- Must already be a certified CNA or HCA in good standing (Washington State)
- Minimum of 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred
- Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Must be comfortable working with clients of all genders
- Must be comfortable working in homes with pets
- Must be experienced and confident with all levels of personal care, transfers, and mobility assistance, including skilled transfer scenarios
On-Call Schedule
- On-call availability is required from 5:00 PM Friday through 6:00 AM Monday
- Receive $150 per weekend simply for being available, plus your hourly wage for any hours worked
- must be prepared to respond when needed during the PRN hours
- Must be able to arrive at an assignment within one hour of being contacted
- You will not be contacted between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM, as those are our designated phone quiet hours
What You'll Do
When called in, you'll provide one-on-one care for seniors in their homes, including:
- Personal care
- Companionship
- Medication reminders
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Safe transfers and mobility assistance
- Transportation, when appropriate
Pay & Benefits
- $150 total for on-call weekend stipend (Friday evening starting at 5pm through Monday morning)
- Plus $22.00–$24.00 per hour for any hours worked
- Opportunity to pick up additional shifts, if desired
