We’re looking for a motivated Automotive Dismantler / Teardown Technician to join our growing performance automotive operation. Our shop specializes in late-model performance vehicles including Mustangs, Hellcats, Camaros, Corvettes, and F-150s, and we focus on high-quality drivetrain removal and component recovery for performance swaps and motorsport applications.
This is not a traditional salvage yard role. You’ll be working indoors in a clean, heated facility with modern vehicles, organized workflows, and a team that takes pride in doing things the right way.
We also participate in various motorsport and automotive events throughout the year, making this an exciting environment for anyone passionate about cars and performance.
Responsibilities
- Safely dismantle late-model vehicles for drivetrain and component removal
- Remove engines, transmissions, wiring harnesses, suspension, and related components
- Identify, label, and organize parts during teardown
- Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment properly and safely
- Follow teardown procedures and shop standards for quality and efficiency
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work closely with other technicians and shop staff to keep workflow moving
Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- No nights or weekends
Qualifications
- Automotive mechanical experience preferred (shop, dealership, hobbyist, or motorsports background)
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Understanding of vehicle systems (engine, transmission, suspension, electrical basics)
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
- Ability to lift and maneuver automotive components
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Bonus (not required):
- Performance or motorsports experience
- Late-model Ford, GM, or Mopar platform familiarity
- Wiring or electronics experience
