About the Role
Syd Squared Jewelry is a woman-owned, Utah-based jewelry brand known for high-quality, tarnish-free jewelry and elevated customer experiences. Most of our jewelry is handmade locally by our team and designed to be worn every day and loved for years.
We’re opening a brand-new Syd Squared location in Orem on October 1, 2026, and we’re looking for a confident, personable, and stylish Jewelry Stylist & Permanent Jewelry Associate to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new location from the beginning. You’ll receive hands-on training at one of our existing locations, such as Fashion Place or City Creek, before transitioning to our new Orem location for opening.
This role is perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, has a strong sense of personal style, and takes pride in creating a warm, elevated shopping experience. You’ll be trained in permanent jewelry, jewelry styling, sales, and day-to-day store operations.
We’re looking for someone who can confidently run the space independently, connect naturally with customers, and represent the Syd Squared brand with professionalism and personality.
Responsibilities
- Style customers and help them find jewelry they love
- Create a personalized, elevated shopping experience
- Confidently approach customers and initiate conversations
- Learn and perform permanent jewelry services through hands-on training
- Guide customers through jewelry selection and permanent jewelry services
- Run the store independently during shifts
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain clean, minimal, and on-brand displays
- Keep the space polished, organized, and inviting throughout the day
- Assist with jewelry production, restocking, and packaging as needed
- Take ownership of the space and help create an exceptional customer experience
- Represent Syd Squared with professionalism, confidence, and personality
Qualifications
- Confident, personable, and professional
- Naturally great with people and comfortable initiating conversation
- Strong sense of style and attention to detail
- Comfortable guiding customers through a sale
- Able to work independently and take ownership of the space
- Reliable, organized, and proactive
- Willing and excited to learn permanent jewelry application
- Comfortable learning and following brand standards
- Sales or retail experience preferred, but not required
- Available to work evenings and weekends
Pay & Perks
Average total earnings: $17–$25+ per hour through hourly pay, commission, and tips.
