Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, taking their orders with enthusiasm and accuracy.
- Prepare a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Toast to process sales efficiently and accurately.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures with precision, ensuring proper cash register balancing at shift end.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all food preparation, serving, and dining areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred.
- Experience with Toast POS system is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling, and proper food preparation techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.
- Basic understanding of retail math for sales tracking and register balancing.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
