Schedule/Hours: 12AM-8AM with some 4PM-12AM shifts
This position is responsible for:
Monitors the behavior and activities of clients participating in a Salvation Army emergency housing program; guards the security and safety of Salvation Army facilities and buildings to ensure compliance with shelter rules and policies and to protect the safety of staff and clients.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Work requires the ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull moderately heavy (less than 25 – 50lbs,) materials, supplies, and equipment. Moderately mobility: duties are usually performed by a combination of standing, waking on a frequent change basis.
Work is performed in a normal social service housing and office environment where there are moderate discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
Licenses and Certifications:
First Aid and C.P.R. Certification, Narcan training
