Policy Records Administrator
BCC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Policy Administration team. The ideal candidate excels at managing complex, time-sensitive tasks across multiple insurance carriers, communicates effectively, and works independently to maintain accurate policy records and process death claims for our banking clients. Familiarity with life insurance is a plus but not required.
Role Overview:
The Policy Records Administrator ensures accurate policyholder and bank information for bank-owned life insurance (BOLI) accounts and processes death claims. This role collaborates with banks, state vital records offices, and diverse insurance carriers, each with unique forms and requirements, to update policy details and manage death claims, ensuring seamless administration and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with policy owners and multiple insurance carriers to update policyholder names, addresses, and related details, navigating varied carrier-specific forms and requirements.
- Manage death claims by collecting, verifying, and submitting required documentation to insurance carriers, ensuring compliance with their specific processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date policy records, meticulously tracking details for both policy updates and death claim activities to meet client and regulatory expectations.
- Review and validate policy documentation and death claim forms for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to carrier-specific guidelines.
- Communicate with insurance carriers to secure approvals, clarify requirements, and confirm updates.
- Use internal systems to efficiently track, organize, and manage policy information updates across multiple carriers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, PDFs, SharePoint, SharePoint Lists, and Salesforce (or similar tools).
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage complex documentation and death claim processes from multiple insurance carriers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including precise data verification and proofreading.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with life insurance or bank-owned life insurance (BOLI) processes is a plus.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently with high accountability.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
