Oversee operations of the Fauquier Free Clinic dental program to advance clinic mission of improving oral health in the local community. Ensure program safety, legal and regulatory compliance, and effectiveness. Arrange staffing, schedule and logistics to enable high quality patient care for the largest possible number of eligible individuals. Recruit and train local volunteers. Provide accurate data for patient care reporting to outside entities.

- Direct experience as a dental assistant and dental office management required.
- Spanish language fluency is a plus.
- General knowledge of dental office practices, equipment and supplies.

- Oversee day to day dental services for program. Communicate regularly with the Executive Director regarding operational issues. Manage weekly evening urgent care clinic as well as daytime scheduled care.
- Help ensure patient and staff safety and infection control procedures are in place and implement best practices for quality patient care outcomes.
- Recruit, oversee and train dental clinic volunteers. Register licensed clinicians with credentialing agencies as needed.
- Meet financial goals, manage budget, billing, and patient accounts processes. Create and maintain reports for financial performance.
- Maintain third party payor relationships for Medicaid reimbursement.
- Schedule patients, staff, and volunteers, including local dentists and other licensed professionals to ensure smooth clinic operation.
- Ensure clear and effective care documentation and tracking.
- Provide case management for patients requiring follow-up or specialty care. Assist with arrangements of appointments, any payments for care as approved by Executive Director, and patient communication.
- Work with clinical staff to order and organize dental supplies and instrumentation to most cost effectively meet the needs of clinic patients.
- Ensure operational readiness of equipment, including x-ray and computer systems.
- Manage patient charting and scheduling systems. Train team in processes as needed.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
